This movie begins with Ash marching as a slave in the midevil times. Ash next begins to explain how he got to where he is and explains a little about the evil. Now the movie jumps back to where he is being marched to the castle of Lord Aurthur were he will be thrown in the pit along with King Henry's men. When he gets to the castle a man is thrown in the pit and killed. A woman picks up a rock and hits Ash on the head with it as he falls into the pit. While in the pit Ash encounters some demons. The wise man who believes that Ash is the chosen man to recover the book of Necronomican tosses Ash his chainsaw which he uses to kill the demons. He then is able to escape the pit with the use of his belt. When he escapes the pit he releases Henry's men and says the next person to touch him will die. Next they tell him the only way to get back to his time is to quest for the book. So the next day he builds himself a new hand (he cut off his hand to keep the evil out of his body) and goes off to begin his journey for the book. This movie has a great mix of horror and very odd humor which keeps you some what interested in the movie. It is a short movie so it does not drag a lot of things out. It was an okay edition to the Evil Dead series. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
